Ingredients
  • 1cup canned pumpkin
  • 2tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 2tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4teaspoon salt
  • 1/4teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2teaspoon baking soda
  • 1teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1teaspoon pumpkin spice
  • 1/2cup white whole wheat flour
  • 2tablespoons Trader Joe’s vanilla pea protein powder
  • 2tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Lightly grease doughnut pan (I use TJ’s coconut oil spray.)
  2. Combine dry ingredients in one bowl.
  3. Combine wet ingredients in separate bowl.
  4. Slowly add dry ingredients into wet, mixing together, but not over mixing.
  5. Pour batter into doughnut pan, then sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  6. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Enjoy!
